Once on a calm wharf
I spotted a ripple; an unexpected line of motion:
it grew
and it grew
did I mention it grow?
from the water there emerged,
like a salivating purple vagina monster bathed in chocolate
one
singular
eyestalk.
It blinked once, twice, swivel swivel, and then slapped me across the face and yelled, "squidpunkd!"
